Dakota Kollar

Dakota Kollar is a 1st year MA student of the English Program.  She is a veteran who served at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland for six years, also known as "The President's Base."  After leaving the military she received her AA from Broward College in Pembroke Pines Florida, followed by her BA summa cum laude at Florida International University in Miami.  Her research interests are 19th, 20th & Contemporary African American & Caribbean Literature, Political Violence & Revolutions, Marxism, Working-class Multi-racial Women's literature.
