Kayla Laws

Kayla Laws is a first-year M.A. student in the Department of English at The George Washington University. Originally from Washington D.C, she graduated from The George Washington University in 2024 with a B.A. in Honors English and Africana Studies, along with a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. Her research interests include African American literature, with a particular focus on Toni Morrison and William Faulkner. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, crafting, singing, and dedicating her time to community service projects.
