Leenu Sugathan

Leenu Sugathan is a third year PhD student and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of English at the George Washington University. She holds an MPhil in English from the University of Hyderabad, India. Her research interests include Literature and Human Rights, Postcolonial, Dalit, and South Asian literatures, Narrative mediation and ethics, Intersection of aesthetics and politics, Race, Caste, and Gender, Black and Dalit feminist thought, Abolitionist politics, Graphic narratives, and Critical Refugee Studies.
