Madi Higareda

Today’s student spotlight is on Madi Higareda! Madi is a second year MA student from Maryland. She also works as an administrator for the GWU HHFRS department. She graduated from University of Maryland in 2018 with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Her research interests include queer representation in contemporary young adult literature. Before coming to GWU, she spent 2 years working in South Korea as an English teacher! She is currently working on her first young adult novel.
