Emily Holland (they/she) is a genderqueer lesbian writer, editor, and instructor. Their poems appear or are forthcoming in publications including HADShenandoahDIALOGISTLittle Patuxent Review, and Black Warrior Review. They are the author of the chapbook Lineage (dancing girl press) and the recipient of multiple fellowships from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. She also works at The Writer’s Center, a nonprofit in Bethesda, MD, where she edits Poet Lore, America’s oldest poetry journal, and teaches writing workshops.

Expertise: creative writing (poetry, fiction, and nonfiction), contemporary literature and film, queer literature and film.
