Joanna Falk is a current PhD student in The George Washington University’s English Department. Before beginning her doctoral studies, she worked as a researcher and political action committee bookkeeper at a small, union-side labor law firm in Washington, DC. While working, she earned her MA in English literature from The University of Maryland College Park. She also received her Bachelors from GW. Her current interests include narratology/narrative theory, twentieth century fiction, film studies, pedagogy, and rhetoric & composition. She has been published in The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Global Shakespeare.
