Jordan Rucci

Jordan Rucci is an M.A. student focusing on late 19th and early 20th century American literature and women's contribution to it. She has also written on contemporary literature and pop-culture. Her Master's Thesis, currently being constructed, examines gendered national identity in three works by Willa Cather. She is largely interested in what it means to be a woman in literature at various points in American history. Her leisure reading often includes Fantasy and Science Fiction work, and when she isn't reading she is likely knitting. Jordan received her B.A. from Kenyon College in 2016. She hopes to teach after receiving her M.A. before hopefully moving onto a Ph.D program.
