Soumi Ganguly

Soumi Ganguly is a PhD student and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of English at The George Washington University. She hails from the city of Kolkata in India, and she obtained her bachelor's and master degrees in English from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Her research interests include the British colonial rule in India, colonial gender politics in the Indian subcontinent, conflict in South Asia, diaspora studies, and postcolonial literatures of South Asia.
